Volunteer Position Summary

As part of our effort to provide comprehensive care, we also do what we can to address social needs that impact health. Through our Free Food Market Program, we provide families with fresh fruits and vegetables. With the help of volunteers, we are able to sort and package over 10,000 pounds of food to provide a COVID-19 safe hand-off to patients and community members in need. This role offers direct patient and community interaction. 

Volunteer Commitment

This opportunity is ideal for Volunteers who cannot meet the 1 shift per week for 6 consecutive month requirements.

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull 20 – 50 lb boxes.
  • Must be able to work in any weather condition.
  • Must be at least 15 years old to apply. Parents/Guardians must sign a waiver for youth to participate. 
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is not required, but is a plus!
